"Terrible" Ted Lindsay

Cards Sent: July 21st, 2009
Received: September 2nd, 2009
Robert Blake Theodore Lindsay. The man, the myth, the legend. An Art Ross trophy winner, four-time Stanley Cup champion and Hockey Hall of Famer, Terrible Ted was the pinnacle peak of hockey excellence in the day. Ted created the NHLPA to combat the NHL's unfair iron rule of pick pocketing their own players. Ted played for Detroit before being traded by Chicago where he would retire. When Sid Abel became coach of the Red Wings in 1964, he would call on Ted to make a comeback where Ted leaped out of retirement and played one final season with Detroit. Mr. Lindsay also started the now famous routine of skating around the ice with the Stanley Cup.

He ended up playing for Toronto around the end of his NHL career and the Edmonton Oilers for the end of his hockey career overall in the WHA. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1982 and also the first famous guy I ever met in my life when I was 8 years old.

Jack Norris & Jamie Langenbrunner

My name is Steve and this is going to be the spot where I post my hockey autographs that I accumulate.

Jamie Langenbrunner is the captain of the New Jersey Devils and has won a Stanley Cup with the Dallas Stars as well as New Jersey meaning he has his name on the Cup twice. This is an Upper Deck Be A Player Signature card which was signed by Jamie in 2008.
