Guy LaFleur

Card Sent: July 16th, 2009
Recieved: August 11th, 2009
Guy LaFleur. What more needs to be said? This Hall of Famer played for the Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers and Quebec Nordiques over 17 years. He has five Stanley Cup rings, three Art Ross tropies and two Hart trophies. What I find facinating about Guy is that in 1981 he threw his Cadillac up on a fence and nearly got decapitated by a post which ripped off some of his ear. Amazing.

Ed Jovanovski started his NHL career with the Florida Panthers before being traded to the Vancouver Canucks and he eventually ended up in Phoenix as part of the Coyotes. A solid defensemen and one of my childhood favourites.

He had also spent part-time with the New York Rangers before his full time setting. Not only has he won four Stanley Cups and been inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame, he has recieved a star on the Canada Walk of Fame as well.

Henri Richard has won 11 Stanley Cups during his 20 season stint with the Montreal Canadiens and has been inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. I sent him one card and one 1970 O-Pee-Chee comic and he signed both as well as added a signed Molson Export card and signed Molson Export postcard. What a great guy!

John LeClair was always one of my favorite players when I was a kid. He hasn't officially retired yet but his last game was in December of 2006 with the Pittsburgh Penguins. He started his career during 90-91 with the Montreal Canadiens who he would win a Stanley Cup with and then joined the Philadelphia Flyers and eventually Pittsburgh.
